Mara is passionate about supporting teams to make their schools a place where all children belong, particularly those who need even more support. She loves how Catalyst supports every role in a school, no matter who you are. As a former elementary teacher, she taught in both rural and urban North Dakota districts. An avid Minnesota sports fan, thrifter, and lover of the outdoors, when Mara isn't coaching and teaching for Catalyst, you can find her doing puzzles, listening to podcasts, audiobooks, and all kinds of music. A day isn't complete without time with family.
